Here at No7 Contact Lenses, we are committed to maintaining the trust and confidence of visitors, customers and contacts to our web site. In particular, we want you to know that No7 is not interested in selling, renting or trading email lists with other companies and businesses for marketing purposes. But just in case you are worried, in this Privacy Policy, we have provided plenty of information on when and why we collect your personal information, how we use it, any limited conditions under which we may disclose it to others and how we keep it secure, so please read on.


How we value your customer data

We value the data of individuals that may visit our site or use our services and to that end, we will ensure your data is kept safe and secure at all times. 


Personal Information

Personal information means any information that may be used to identify you, such as, your name, title, phone number, email address, or mailing address. In general, you can browse our website without giving us any personal information. We use several products to analyse traffic to this website in order to understand our visitors’ needs and to continually improve our site for them. We collect only anonymous, aggregate statistics. For example, we do not tie a specific visit to a specific IP address. However, there may be additional activities with us that require you to be registered. For example, to receive our Email communications and enter some of our competitions. 

 As part of the registration process, we collect personal information. We use that information for a couple of reasons: to inform you of things you may need to know about; to contact you if we need to obtain or provide additional information; to check our records are right and to check every now and then that you’re happy and satisfied. 



You shall always have the right to access and correct your information and/or your privacy preferences. You can update your preferences from any marketing materials and bulletins by unsubscribing and clicking the link at the bottom of any E-news sent to you, or alternatively call or contact No7 in writing to the address at the bottom of this page.


How long we will keep data

Some product information details may be kept for reference as required for regulatory and legal reasons this may contain patient data that we would need to process on your behalf, but rest assured any information shall be kept safe and protected for the duration required. This may be anything up to 7 years.


How we keep the data safe

 All data we hold is secured by Firewall and Anti-virus data measures. This protection is consistently updated as new as and when new updates or versions become available and installed, monitored and serviced by Astec, our professional IT servicing provider. All information is encrypted and password protected.

 We do not share, sell or pass on your information to anyone else, third party individuals or organisations for their own gains or marketing purposes.

 To help you stay safe we advise you to always keep your login password secure at all times should you access the site to review your Registration Information. 



 Staff handling any of your data are trained in the correct duties and disciplines for the safe handling of your data.


Do we use “Cookies”?

Yes. Mailing lists

As part of the registration process to buy products or for our occasional Email communications, we collect personal information. We use that information for a couple of reasons:

  • To inform you of things you’ve asked us to tell you about.
  • To contact you if we need to obtain or provide additional information.
  • To check our records are right and to check every now and then that you’re happy and satisfied. 

We do not rent or trade email lists with other organisations and businesses.

We use a third-party provider, MailChimp, to deliver our Email and bulletins. We gather statistics around email opening and clicks using industry standard technologies to help us monitor and improve the content. Event booking data

We also use “Eventbrite” an online booking service for educational events or lecture programs hosted by No7. They will need to understand personal information to satisfy booking details. For information on their privacy policy please click here.


Purchasing products

When you purchase a product with us by phone, email, fax or online your name, address data, email, contact number including any patient data that we would need to process on your behalf will be stored in our ordering system and/or product design software along with specification details of order request.  This is kept for future reference to ease future order processing and regulatory reasons. Please be assured that we do not share your personal details with any other company and would never attempt to do so without your consent.


Public information and third-party websites

  • Blog. We do not currently have a public blog on our Websites. Any information you include in a comment in a blog may be read, collected, and used by anyone. If your Personal Information should ever appear on any future No7 blog platform and you should want it removed, contact us here. If we are unable to remove your information, we will tell you why.
  • Social media platforms. Our websites include social media features, these features may collect information about your IP address and which page you are visiting on our Website, and they may set a cookie to make sure the feature functions properly. Social media features and widgets are either hosted by a third party or hosted directly on our Website. We also maintain presences on social media platforms including Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram. Any information, communications, or materials you submit to us via a social media platform is done at your own risk without any expectation of privacy. We cannot control the actions of other users of these platforms or the actions of the platforms themselves. Your interactions with those features and platforms are governed by the privacy policies of the companies that provide them. 
  • Links to third-party websites. Our Websites include links to other websites, whose privacy practices may be different from ours. If you submit Personal Information to any of those sites, your information is governed by their privacy policies. We encourage you to carefully read the privacy policy of any Website you visit.

Access to your personal information

Should you wish to view, amend or delete your information then do not hesitate to contact our Data Protection Officer on the details at the bottom of this page.  


Transfer of Information

Should No7 Contact Lenses sell on its assets or merge with any other or be acquired by any separate entity information may need to be provided to such third party for the continuation of purpose. No7 will give notice and gain further consent before any said personal details or information may be passed on. 



Should you not be happy or have concerns that worry you regarding our policy and feel we have failed to meet the demands of GDPR Legislation please do not hesitate to return to us on the above address details so that we may correct or explain any issues you may have as promptly as possible.


Changes to this Privacy Notice

So that we may continue to stay in compliance to GDPR rules we shall sometimes be required to make changes to this policy to further suit any changes to regulations that may come about and, the suitability of evolving future data holding arrangements within the business.
