The Lunelle ES70 Single Vision is a custom soft contact lens for all spherical refractive errors. Its wide range of parameters combined with the unique ES70 material offers outstanding adaptation and all-day comfort.
The Lunelle ES70 Single Vision is available in Couleur, Solaire and Visble Tint.
Base curve calculation for the first contact lens
We recommend you choose the diameter of the lens by adding 2.00 mm to the HVID:
- Diameter 13.00 mm = flattest K + 0.50 mm
- Diameter 13.50 mm = flattest K + 0.70 mm
- Diameter 14.00 mm = flattest K + 0.90 mm
- Diameter 14.50 mm = flattest K + 1.10 mm
- Diameter 15.00 mm = flattest K + 1.30 mm
Adaptation checklist
- Insert the trial lens and leave for between 30 minutes and 2 hours. Over refraction (you can use the autorefractometer for getting an idea of cyl/axis)
- Biomicroscopy (× 10 to 15) white light: observe the lens with the patient looking straight ahead and during eye movement
- Check mobility by eyelid movement (push up test)
- The sag of the lens should be from 1 to 2 mm downwards
- Check the appearance of the front optic zone: tear film, hydration, lubrication, deposit
- Check the keratometry on the contact lens: (deformation of the mires)
- Check for corneal and conjunctival staining with fluorescein after lens removal
- Order the final lens based on the SN
